Police dogs and spinning wheels . . .

The police dog demonstration was at "The Square" in downtown Prescott.  They have lots of offerings there during the summer . . . pretty much every weekend.  I used to go to a lot of them when I first moved to town.  Now, not so much.

There is a cool place called the Sharlot Hall Museum in town.  It's like an old village from the nineteenth century . . . old houses, a school house, exhibits.  And they often have activities there demonstrating life back then, or festivals, or other cool stuff.  The woman with the spinning wheel was working during one of the many awesome presentations.  As a matter of interest, the following year when I returned to this event, (I told you I lapped myself!) I saw another woman at the spinning wheel taking a break with a cell phone in her hand.  I wanted to take a picture of that because I loved the irony.  But she wouldn't let me!!
